We set up your plant
Your lines, machines and their sections, your maintenance team and their roles, your stores and your contractors. Each person sees what their role needs.

How it works
SPANNER CMMS is the maintenance part of SPANNER ERP: breakdowns, preventive maintenance, spare parts, purchasing and the team’s time, all connected. A repair takes its parts from the stores and its downtime goes straight into MTTR and MTBF. It is set up around your own lines, machines and people.
Your lines, machines and their sections, your maintenance team and their roles, your stores and your contractors. Each person sees what their role needs.
Operators raise alerts, technicians close work orders with parts from the stores, and purchasing orders what runs low. Nothing is typed twice.
Downtime, MTTR, MTBF, PM compliance, overtime and parts spend add up as people work, and every report downloads as CSV, Excel, Word or PDF.
Less downtime, and every minute of it measured.
The right part on the shelf, bought on the vendor’s quote.
Outside work followed like your own.
Hours, overtime and leave without paper.
Ready for the moment the alarm goes off.
Shutdowns, projects and improvements on one board.

Built for the floor
SPANNER installs like an app, works on any screen and keeps each plant's data separate.
An operator raises the alert at the line and a technician answers it in minutes. SPANNER stamps every step, so response time, repair time and downtime are measured, not estimated. Scroll to follow one incident.

Every phone on the maintenance team buzzes with the machine, the fault and who raised it.
Two taps on a phone or a shared screen. The alert names the machine and the fault, and goes to every technician on shift as a push notification.
Response time is recorded the moment someone presses Respond, so managers see who answered and how fast, shift by shift.
Cause, action taken and parts used go into the report, and the parts come out of stock. Nobody re-types it into a spreadsheet later.
Downtime, MTTR and MTBF recalculate for the machine and the line, and the record is ready for the monthly report in Word, Excel, PDF or PowerPoint.
Breakdowns and overdue PMs arrive as push notifications, even with the app closed.
Phones clock in only on site. Overtime calculates itself.
Pages you opened stay readable in a plant with no Wi-Fi.
Operators, technicians, supervisors and managers each see their own work.
Reports export to CSV, Excel, Word, PDF and PowerPoint, with your logo.
A link in their weekly email lets each contractor report progress, delays and parts needed.
Built by a maintenance manager
SPANNER was built around the way plants actually work, by people who have run maintenance on a production floor.

SPANNER was inspired by Shawn Wilson, an industrial systems engineer working as a maintenance manager. After years of leading maintenance teams and navigating production pressures, equipment downtime, and fragmented, slow-moving information, he kept running into the same problem: plants relied on a patchwork of spreadsheets, paper records, and disconnected software that rarely communicated. Rather than force manufacturing processes to fit off-the-shelf tools, he set out to build software around the way plants actually work. That decision became SPANNER.
He holds a BEng in Industrial Systems from Caribbean Maritime University.

Sammarieo Brown is the lead software engineer who brought SPANNER to life, translating Shawn’s operational vision into a secure, scalable cloud application and building the real-time, multi-tenant system that now runs entire plants from a single login.
He also leads data science at one of the Caribbean’s largest financial groups, founded Calibr, a no-code credit risk modeling platform, and holds a BSc in Computer Science and Statistics and an MSc in Applied Data Science from the University of the West Indies, Mona.
